To the remarkable Class of 2024, congratulations on reaching this milestone!

At City and Country, we believe success takes many forms and is deeply rooted in educational environments that resonate with each student’s distinct needs and aspirations. Whether continuing in a progressive learning setting, selecting a more traditional institution, or pursuing a specialized program, our students are empowered to make choices that align with their unique paths. What’s certain is that they are well-prepared and eager to move forward.

As we appreciate these outcomes, we value the process and the partnership between the Class of 2024, their families, and our faculty and staff.

  • It began in the middle of XIIs (seventh grade) at a Coffee and Conversation with our high school counselor, the division director, and the learning specialists.
  • 1:1 meetings followed, during which families created customized lists of school options.
  • Mock interviews and prepping began in the spring of their XIIs year (most need very little coaching and present beautifully)
  • Families researched the schools, and students meticulously reflected on what mattered most.
  • Families whittled their list at the beginning of the XIIIs (eighth grade).
  • Our dedicated team provided unwavering support, including personalized guidance, our high school class, and APL. They helped students write essays, conduct research, reflect on the process, and prepare for tests.
  • Applications were submitted, and requirements were met.

The students’ efforts paid off. They know what to expect and are equipped with the skills and confidence to navigate future challenges. A testament to the caliber of our students, a K-12 admission director remarked, “I can spot a C&C student from across the room. They’re smart and know how to take on a problem.”
